Hello my name is Clay Lamb. I have owned and operated American Chimney, a Cincinnati based chimney sweep company since 1981.

Let me take a moment and answer the question I get asked so often, “How did you ever get into this business?" I was just looking for a way to support my wife and three small children age 4, 2, and 1. I never thought we would reach the level in business that we have. To save money on fuel costs I bought a wood stove insert in the early 80’s. From there I decided that I would start a part time chimney cleaning service. That was over 28 years and more than 75,000 service call ago.

With the help and leadership of my son David we now operate 8 service trucks. We primarily service the Greater Cincinnati /Northern KY.

For the past 28 years we have been doing fireplace cleaning, sales and installation of woodstove, interior fireplace repairs on fireboxes and dampers.
